Seoul, Korea

It's been a while since I've had time to myself and blog. I was in asia for a while visiting relatives and vacation. I went with a tour to go South Korea. We did lots of shopping for clothes and nifty gadgets. On the second day, I parted the tour to meet up with my friend James. We were going to go I-park to watch Starcraft. The subway system in Seoul is so complex. They have 10 subway lines which all interconnect. I got lost a few times and had to ask Korean speaking citizens to get back on track. There is two e-sports stadium in Seoul and turns out I-park wasn't the stadium where they were hosting the match. I got there early so I had time to travel to the other stadium. I met up with James and we watched STX vs SKT1 playoff game. James and I got to be on TV because I was holding a sign up in English.

I was cheering for Kal who is also known as GooJiLa. He had a Shuttle with 2 zealots and a Reaver flying around Fantasy's base. He got like 14 SCV kills and was greatly ahead. However he followed up with 2 speed shuttles with 2 Reaver and 4 Zealots but ran into 3 turrets and a mine and was greatly crippled. I cried a little on the inside. He lost in the ace match and I was extremely disappointed. I got a picture of his back though. He was trying to hide his face because he lost the ace match.

A true warrior

After me and James went to I-park for some jajamyun. It was delicious; I am surprised I have never tried it in China or Hong Kong considering it is Chinese-Korean food. We walked around I-park for a bit and went to a huge computer store building. Shop keepers kept asking me what I wanted in Korean but I don't speak Korean. After we took the subway home; James helped me greatly taking me to my stop. I couldn't find my hotel but I asked a nice Korean lady who was minding her own business and she took me to my hotel. Korean people are really nice. I would strongly consider South Korea as a destination I would visit again in the future.
